Analytics and AI Services

Enterprise AI & Analytics

Pyramid's Enterprise AI services help agencies deploy production-ready AI agents that observe, reason, and act, automating complex, compliance-heavy workflows across government operations. Solutions are built on enterprise cloud platforms including AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI, with architectures designed for security, auditability, and NIST AI Risk Management Framework (NIST AI RMF) alignment from day one. Services span concept through production deployment, typically within 12 to 20 weeks, focusing on measurable outcomes such as reduced processing time, lower manual effort, and operational cost savings. Pyramid delivers deployable software with governance controls and enterprise integrations, the opposite of experimental AI initiatives.

Value Proposition

  • Reduced processing time and operational cost through AI-driven automation
  • Accelerated time-to-value with deployable solutions delivered in weeks
  • Enterprise-ready AI solutions with built-in security, audit trails, and compliance controls
  • Alignment with NIST AI Risk Management Framework principles across design, deployment, and operations
  • Flexible deployment options supporting batch or real-time workflows across customer or managed cloud environments

Key Differentiators

  • Proven delivery of enterprise AI solutions from use case definition through deployment and ongoing optimization
  • Experience delivering AI capabilities in regulated environments including federal procurement, HR, financial, and compliance-driven workflows
  • Execution focused on deployable, production-ready solutions with clear success metrics rather than exploratory pilots
  • Integration of NIST AI RMF principles across design, delivery, and governance

Core Features

Autonomous AI Agents. Design and deployment of AI agents that observe systems, reason over data, and take action or recommend actions with human approval. Architectures support continuous operation, audit-ready decision logs, and human-in-the-loop escalation aligned to agency governance requirements.

Agentic Workflow Automation. AI-driven execution of multi-step workflows across enterprise systems, including information gathering, decision-making, tool invocation, and task completion. Supports use cases such as intake processing, case management, compliance monitoring, and operational support.

Knowledge-Based AI Assistants. Conversational AI powered by retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) that delivers accurate, context-aware answers grounded in authoritative organizational content. Responses include source citations and confidence indicators to support reliable decision-making.

AI Governance & Risk Management. NIST AI RMF-aligned governance capabilities including bias evaluation, explainability standards, continuous monitoring, and incident response. Supports federal AI trustworthiness requirements and agency Chief AI Officer (CAIO) governance mandates.

Service Process

  • Discovery & Assessment. Assess use cases, workflows, data sources, integrations, and success criteria.
  • Solution Design & Validation. Design agent architectures and validate approaches using representative data.
  • Implementation & Integration. Build secure, scalable AI agents and integrate with enterprise systems.
  • Deployment & Enablement. Deploy to users, establish controls, validate operational performance.
  • Optimization & Sustainment. Monitor usage, refine agent behavior, and support continuous improvement.

Customer Success Story. Federal Acquisition Modernization

For the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Acquisition Modernization Support Services program, Pyramid built an AI-powered platform that supports the full federal acquisition lifecycle, from requirements development through award, execution, and contract closeout. The platform combines AI-assisted document drafting, configurable governance workflows, structured source selection, and integrated contract lifecycle management within a single system designed for regulated environments. Measurable impact at HUD: procurement acquisition lead time reduced by 70% or more, FAR-required acquisition packages generated in minutes instead of months, and GAO protest response timelines reduced by 50% or more, with full audit traceability preserved. Read the AIR-Quire HUD AMSS case study.

Pyramid Labs also built the CRVA RPA bot in 5 days to reduce federal contract-renewal delays and eviction risk. Read the RPA case study.

Frequently asked questions

How do you handle PII in analytics and AI workflows?

Minimum necessary access, encryption at rest and in transit, tokenization for joins across datasets, and audit logs on every read. We design data flows so PII never reaches an unauthorized analyst, model, or report.

What is your stance on generative AI for federal use cases?

Useful when scoped, risky when ungoverned. We help agencies pick the right model class for the job, isolate it in the right boundary, log every prompt and response, and provide a human-review path for any decision the model touches.

Do you build models in-house or use commercial AI services?

Both. Where a frontier model adds real capability and the boundary allows it, we use it. Where the data must stay inside the agency boundary or the use case demands transparency, we build and tune in-house, often on open-source foundations.

How do you make AI decisions explainable to OIG or Congressional review?

Every AI-assisted decision lands with a decision record: inputs, model version, prompt or feature set, output, human reviewer, and final action. The record is queryable, exportable, and retained per the system's records schedule.

Is Pyramid Systems on a contract vehicle for federal AI and analytics?

Yes. AIR-Quire, our AI-powered federal acquisition platform, is Awardable on the DoW Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. Analytics and AI services are also covered under GSA MAS (including SINs 54151S and 518210C), GSA OASIS+ Unrestricted, HHS CMS SPARC, SEC ONE IT, GSA 8(a) STARS III, and the HUD O&M BPA.

How do you align AI workflows to OMB M-24-10 and Executive Order 14110?

M-24-10 requires agencies to inventory AI use cases, manage risk, and designate a Chief AI Officer. We help agencies build the inventory, classify each use case, write the impact assessment, and put the governance loop on a calendar. EO 14110 alignment shows up as model documentation, red-team testing on high-risk use cases, and reproducible evaluation artifacts.

Can you build AI inside an agency boundary without sending data to a commercial API?

Yes. For high-sensitivity data we deploy open-source foundation models (Llama family, Mistral, others) inside the agency FedRAMP boundary on AWS GovCloud or Azure Government. Inference, fine-tuning, and evaluation all stay inside the boundary. No prompt, no embedding, no training example crosses the trust boundary unless an Authorizing Official has approved that egress in writing.

Do you only work with federal agencies?

Federal agencies are the majority of our delivery experience, and that's the rigor our commercial clients hire us for too. Pyramid serves federal agencies and regulated enterprises (financial services, healthcare networks, utilities, regulated technology platforms) that demand the same audit posture, uptime, and compliance discipline we built for federal mission systems. If your environment is regulated, audited, or relied on by people who notice when it breaks, you are our audience.
