Pyramid Systems Introduces the AIR-Quire Advisory Board

To keep the platform grounded in the realities contracting teams face, Pyramid Systems assembled an advisory board of leaders who have run federal acquisition and transformation at the highest levels of government. Their guidance shapes AIR-Quire’s roadmap, priorities, and real-world usability.

Collectively, the five founding members bring well over a century of combined experience across GSA, the Department of Veterans Affairs, DoD, DHS, and the IRS — including former Assistant Commissioners, a former Chief Acquisition Officer, and multiple Presidential Rank and FED100 award recipients.

Tim is a recognized federal shared-services leader who has guided strategic and transformational initiatives at CSC, Microsoft, The Clearing, and across the federal government. Now Principal of Alvesta Consulting, he helped launch the Partnership for Public Service’s Shared Services Roundtable and is a recipient of the prestigious FED100 award.

Tara brings more than 25 years of experience leading enterprise transformation, organizational design, leadership development, and stakeholder engagement across government, business, nonprofit, and education sectors. As CEO of The Clearing, she develops practical management models that help leaders align culture, technology, and data to navigate complex change and sustain organizational growth.

Greg brings more than 36 years of federal service, including over 16 years as an executive and Chief Acquisition Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, with additional leadership roles at DoD, DoT, and DHS. A Presidential Distinguished Rank and two-time FED100 award recipient, he now advises government leaders and supports international public procurement reform.

Crystal brings more than 20 years of experience leading business transformation, federal contracting, and digital modernization across government. She held multiple Assistant Commissioner roles at GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service and Technology Transformation Service before founding Philcox Consulting, where she advises government contractors on growth and competitive win strategies.

Jim brings more than 40 years of public- and private-sector leadership, including 30 years in the U.S. Federal Government and senior roles at GSA, DHS, and the IRS. A multiple Presidential Rank and FED100 award recipient, he holds an MBA from George Washington University and a B.S. in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University.
